Obstacle Course
6 km long course – NO walk in the park!
The HEART of Mud Hero is the course. The exhilaration you’ll feel after completing 15 natural and man-made obstacles will only be topped at the finish line. Mud Hero’s course will get your adrenaline and blood pumping, while announcers, music and zany obstacles make this course like no other. You’ll slip, slide, climb, crawl, jump and wade your way to cheers at the Mud Zone!

Mud Bash
The BRAIN of Mud Hero is the Mud Bash. With MC’s, DJ’s, cash BBQ, Beer, the finish and registration this is where the action is. Our Mud Bash at Rafter Six will also feature special demonstrations and non-stop action as you GET DOWN and clean up at our outdoor showers.

Parking
Rafter Six will charge a $5 per car parking fee so please bring cash. Carpool to save $ and the environment!

Lodging
Check out the ‘Bow Valley Park Campgrounds’ just around the corner from Rafter Six Ranch.

Rafter Six Ranch does offer RV camping at $28 per night (no hook ups available - your trailer must be 'self sufficient' with own water and facilities) and are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Spectators
Mud Hero encourages, and doesn’t charge spectators, by providing easy access and great vistas to view the course. Dogs are NOT allowed at Rafter Six – so please leave Fido at home or with a loved one!

Get Down and Dirty Together

The only thing better than getting muddy by yourself is getting muddy with your buddies. If you want to complete the course as a group - fantastic! Participants will still be individually timed. Just decide what wave your group wants to be in, but make sure everyone signs up quickly as popular waves will sell out early.

Groups of 15 or More

If you know at least 15 friends who want to be Mud Heroes, then register as a group by emailing ted.mcleod@crazycanuckevents.com to receive a discount code of $5 per Hero. This discount code will only last 2 weeks, so make sure your entire group registers within that time period. Mud Hero is not a dirty sandwich.

Test your strength and stamina over our obstacle course, join the ‘mud hero’ gang and have a blow out day with your friends at our Mud Hero Event.

It’s gonna be a blast! Grab your gang and head out to the obstacle course in the beautiful outdoors just a short drive out of Calgary. We’ve got rivers and lakes and acres of forest and hills and bogs and creeks. That’s just the kind of terrain that’s made for creating mud heroes on a sunny day. The mud run in Calgary is a great way to spend a summer’s day with your hyperactive and crazy friends.

You don’t have to be a super hero to slip and slide around the mud run in Calgary. You can run, walk, swagger, stagger or slither around our obstacle course. Our obstacle course is designed to test your strength, stamina and endurance while having a fun time! Whether you want to get the exercise or try to push yourself to beat a personal goal, all are welcome at our Calgary event.

Get crazy or go wild at our mud run in Calgary and then join us for the mega party after the race. Wear a costume, or get team uniforms that will add to the fun and help to create the spirit of the day. Our mud run in Calgary will give you and your friends a day to remember!
